This elaborate filigree pendant has a lot going on, and you will never tire of discovering fresh details. An openwork square of silver gilt wirework is beaded, bossed, and enameled, with an oval garnet cabochon set at its heart. The oversized bale is almost its best feature; the filigree is seemingly scaled, like a reptile. Could it be Chinese? I certainly think so. The pendant is suspended from a flat cable link vermeil chain, but something tells me it belongs on a strand of Peking glass beads. Circa 1930.

Details.....The chain is 18" long. The pendant measures 1.34" by 1.97". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
